Last Harvest

The Last Harvest is the Raconnan holiday, also referred to as the Harvest Festival, which celebrates the end of the agricultural year. As shown here, festivities include food, games of skill, contests organized and spontaneous, and, of course, dancing through the night.

Quentyn's departure to find the lost artifacts outside the Mistwall coincides with (and almost causes the cancellation of) that year's Last Harvest celebration in Freeman Downs. Following an illuminating interview with Rahan, who has imbibed a little too much, Quentyn insists that Kestrel come and "get in one harvest dance" with him, dressed for it or not.
