Gus Turtle is the local codger in the community -- rumour has it he may've bee born a so-called curdmundgeon. Other than all that, he's much a laid-back wise old father-figure for many dads in the community, including Roy Todd. And for many adventures for any boys in the community, Gus does happen to be a war vet, somehow literally sharing the adventures war may've had to offer!
