Fellowship of Heroes follows the adventures of a hero named Crusader.
Through most of Chris' life, he had looked up to superheroes. Men and women who selflessly went into battle against evil using their unique gifts. But when Chris helps his childhood friend Brittany Ogelmeyer with her college thesis, he learns the harsh truth. The men and women he looked up to for hope are as broken as any other. It deeply effects Chris to the point that confiding in Brittany couldn't help and he starts to question God to the point of demanding "Where are our Mighty Men of Valor?"
On one trip up into the hillside, it starts to storm heavily and Chris finds a car stranded on the road. While attempting to help them, a truck looses control on the wet road and crashes into the car. When Chris regains consciousnesses a moment later, he sees the car with mother and son inside about to fall off the hill side. Without a second thought he leaps onto the car. His attempts to save the two inside only makes the car slip further off the edge and he makes what is afraid is a final plea. "God in Heaven. Why won't you help us?"
In that moment, Chris's superhuman abilities awaken and he lifts the car off the edge and onto safety, then saves the truck driver before his truck explodes. Chris however can't rest as the boy urges him to leave before the police arrive and reveal his secret identity. He doesn't question the strange urge to leave and does so and in a moment is across the valley. It was there on that hilltop that he replied to God's answers to his many questions.. Hineni.
Thus begins the story of Crusader.

Setting
Fellowship of Heroes takes place in an alternate version of Earth. Here, superhumans are real. Men like the American Sentinel and the Human Fly protect the cities and nations with their abilities. Thus far, the main part of the story has taken place in Ceder Springs, a small town where Chris Taylor and Brittany Ogelmeyer were born and raised. The town is quiet for the most part aside from the occasional heavy storms and dinosaurs running though the streets.
It is unclear where in the US Ceder Springs is at the moment.
